In general, the amount of water which was consumed for residential use was larger than for the other four purposes over the period given. In addition, the proportion of residential water use showed irregular patterns over the period of time.
The percentage of the consumption of water for the residential sector, with 50% used in houses and 20% used in apartments. Industrial use and businesses made up 11% and 10% of the overall water use, while the government and others uses represented 6% and 3% respectively.
Most of the water that was used in residential areas was consumed in bathrooms and gardens at 27% and 28% respectively. The water that was used to wash clothes at 20%, while toilets and kitchens at 15% and 10% of the total residential water.
