Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the majority of water in San Diego and California is used for residential purposes followed next by the industrial sector. However, with a reverse trend, the world's predominant sector order is agriculture, industry, and residential.
According to the given illustration, nearly 3 in every 5 units of water is diverted to the residential areas in San Diego as compared to just below 40% in California. However, of the total water, nearly 11% fewer units are invested in the industry in San Diego, while 28% is utilized for the same in California.
