The proportion of the median Japanese and Malaysian family’s expenses to various divisions in 2010 are collated in the pie charts.
Overall, shelter, food and different commodities and service drained a lion share of a Malaysian’s earning while Japanese people spent more on products and service. On the contrary, Healthcare obtained by far the lowest percentage of expenditure in both countries.
Looking at the information in more detail, the greatest proportion of paying out (34%) was on Housing in Malaysia meanwhile in Japan Housing accounted for just 21% of the total. Likewise, in Japan, the biggest single outlay was other goods and services at 29%, compared with 26% in Malaysia. Furthermore, Food came in second place in both countries, food expenditure In Malaysia (27%) was slightly higher than that of Japan (24%). Besides, money spent for transportation fall as the fourth priority with an average of 20% in Japan and 10% in Malaysia. Eventually, Japanese people are more attentive Healthcare than Malaysian, just only 3% paid by Malaysian whereas 6% paid by Japanese.
