Burnaby Public Library
The line chart depicts how many books read by both genders/sexes at Burnaby Public Library over the period of three years from 2011 to 2014. Generally, the number of books which was read by males and females experienced an increase, but with different degee/level during a period shown.
Firstly, in 2011, women read nearly 5000 books meanwhile male readers had roughly 2500 books read, only a half as compared to their counterpart. Following this, the number of books that women read rose gradually, reaching its peak at 10000 in 2013. Similarly, the figue for male readers got a slight growth of approximately 2000 books in 2012, followed by a surge to 14000 books in 2014. The data intersected/exceeded that of women in 2013 and was about seven times as many as the data in 2011.
Finally, from 2013 onward, the number of books read by females reversed, falling moderately til 2014 with under 8000 books being recorded.
