The pie charts below show the comparison of different kinds of energy production of France in two years.
The pie charts demonstrate the different sources in terms of producing energy in France in 1995 and 2005.
Overall, it is clear that Coal, gas and petrol were the biggest sources to produce energy in both years, while nuclear and others accounted for the least amount of energy. However, in all types of energy production there was minimal change over the 10 year period.
In 1995, 29.80% of energy was being produced from coal, while in 2005, it accounted for 30.93%, which was the largest energy production source of France in both years. On the other side, by producing 29.63% and 30.30% in 1995 and 2005, respectively, gas secured the second position to produce energy. Meanwhile, Petro accounted for 29.70% in 1995, and this proportion dropped to 19.55% in 2005.
Again, nuclear and other sources represented 6.40% and 4.90% of the total energy production in 1995, while These figures were almost double in 2005, 10.10% and 9.10%, respectively.
