The pie charts below show the percentage of time working adults spent on different activities in a particular country in 1958 and 2008.

the pie charts give information about how mature individuals in one nation spent their time on doing various activities in the year 1958 and 2008.
Overall, people increasingly spent most of their time on working and less sleeping at the same given period. In addition, the time for other activities declined over the given period.
Looking at the both charts in more detail, the total of time for working had an increase by 9% to 42% in the period of 50 years, while the pattern of sleeping experienced a decrease from 32% to 25% , which means people was increasingly working harder and less sleeping as well. The rate for commuting to work shot up by 6%, to 8% in 2008.
People progressively spent their time on personal entertainment such as relaxing at home ,other interests or playing sports, which the rates for these activities was initually 8%,6% , respectively and then climbed up by 5% and 2% in the given period, whereas they spent less time with friends and family.
