The given pie charts depicts the proportion of working adults devote their time to distinctive activities in a specific country in 1958 and 2008.
Overview, working adults allocated most of their free time on working and sleeping in 1995 and 2008. Additionally, time for relaxing at home increased, as opposed to going out and travelling to work, which people spent less time than the other.
In 1958, spending time working occupied almost third of the day (33%), while sleeping accounted for less time, at 32%. At that time, sociallizing with friends and involving in other personal habit or sports in their spare time made up of 19% and 6% of the total. Only 10% of time was devoted to sleep and relax at home.
After the period of 50 years, working still occupied the highest percentage with the figure being recorded at 42%, meanwhile time for unwinding witnessed a slight rise and accounted for 13% of the total. Traveling to work observed a fourfold increase to 8% in the next 50 years. By contrary, engaging in interests or sports and hanging with acquaintances made up only 14%, which is lower by 11% compared to 1958.
