Overall, In Australia, coal is the most significant source for producing electricity in both these years. In comparison, At the beginning of the period, major source of electricity generation in French were coal and natural gas whereas, the nuclear power made up a large part of electricity production in French at the end of the period.
In terms of the unit production, coal is the most popular source of fuel used by the Australia in 1980 and 2000 accounted for (50 units and 130 units) respectively. In 1980, Hydro power contributed a fifth to the total production in Australia which then grow slightly to 36 units by the year of 2000. Whereas, the fuel sources like oil and natural gas which comprised 10 units and 20 units of the chart in 1980,decreased dramatically to the same level (2 units) in 2000.
In French, nuclear power was generated 15 units initially and then rose abruptly to 126 units in the final year. While, figure for the oil increased slightly from 20 units to 25 units over the period of 20 years. In contrast, units manufactured by the coal remains unchanged in both years to about 25 units.
