The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

The plans demonstrate the layout of a university sports centre now and its’ layout after the redevelopment.

As can be seen from the two layouts, the pool and seating arrangement will be same as before. The gym will be in the same location but it will be extended. In the location of current outdoor courts in the western side will be a pleasure pool. The outdoor pool on the other side will be replaced by a sports hall. The reception will be as it is now. There will be two additional changing rooms at the south-western and north-western corners of the area. One of them will be attached to the pleasure pool and the other will be just outside the sports hall. There will be two dance studios in the redevelopment process. There will be a cafe just beside one of the changing rooms. A sports shop is also in the plan which is supposed to be located just by the other additional changing room. Comparing the two layouts, it is clear that the overall area of the sports centre will increase after the redevelopment. This way, the whole sports centre will be inside one large complex.
