The plans below show the layout of a university's sports center now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The map illustrates the current layout of a university's sports center and the plans for future renovation.
Overall, it can be seen that major changes will be made to the main infrastructure, which will be enlarged to include the outdoor courts. More changing rooms and shops, including a cafè, will be built during redevelopment.
The present sports center, that is located in the middle of the map, will remain untouched, although the gym will be doubled in size. The reception, situated in front of the entrance, together with the seating and the main changing room, located on the right and the left side of the pool respectively, will be left out of the renovation plans. Where now the eastern outdoor court is, a new sports hall and two separated dance studios will be built. They will be placed in the northeastern corner from the entrance.
In the southeastern corner, and in the southwestern one, new changing rooms will be added, next door the new sports shop and cafè. Additionally, in the place of the western outdoor court, a leisure pool will be constructed, which will have direct access to the changing room.
