Overall, it is noticeable from the maps that the sports center will be redeveloped and witness great extension in size and there will be a wide range of new facilities and infrastructures.
At the entrance of the center, the reception area as well as the 25-meter pool and its seating will remain unchanged in size and location. In contrast, the gym will be widened significantly while the changing room to the west of the gym will not increase in terms of its overall area.
In the west corner of the university sports center, outdoor courts will be demolished to make the way for a leisure pool. In addition, there will be a construction of a sports shop right next to the changing room situated in the southern area of the pool. A sports hall and two dance studios to the east of the sports center will be built at the place where the second outdoor courts’ area used to be. Meanwhile, a changing room and a café will appear in the southeast corner of the center.
