The maps below show Grange Park which first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Generally, it is clear that the park underwent a significant increase in accommodation, the elimination of the garden, and the introduction of entertaining areas.
Looking at the map, the fountain has replaced the rose garden in the main areas. At the East and South, Children’s play areas have been built and the Rose garden converted into a cafe now. And on the left side, there is a rose garden at the bottom left that has been pulled down. All the seats are no longer there which have relocated surrounding the Rose Garden at the main park . Moreover, the Stage for musicians has been transformed into an Amphitheatre for concerts. Another change was the glasshouse which was redeveloped into a water feature. Finally, the Entrance underground car park has been opened to the left of the Entrance in Eldon Street.
