The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
The provided map illustrates the changes that took place in Grange park since 1920.
Overall, it can be seen that the entire park has undergone numerous renovations, resulting in improved infrastructure and attractive amenities.
As is given on the map, the two main entrances via Arnold Avenue in the North and via Eldon street to the South remained unaltered. The central fountain has been supplanted by a beautiful rose garden with plenty of seating desks around it. Also, to its left, the stage for musicians along with seating desks has been knocked down in the favour of an Amphitheatre for concerts.
Further, seats and rose garden to the left of the South entrance have been destroyed, however, the rose garden to its opposite end remained untouched. To the left of the North entrance, a cafe and children's play area has been built to replace the rose garden and pond for water plants. A new water feature took over the area occupied by the glasshouse and a few seats in the Southeast corner of the park, with a new entrance for the underground car park to its opposite end.
