The plans below show the South Wing of Walton Museum in 2008 and in 2012 after it was redeveloped.
The maps give information about the South Wing of Walton Museum was rebuilt between 2008 and 2012.
Overall, mostly rooms were changed or replaced by another rooms. The lift was constructed to replace the stairs.
Starting with entrance hall, the South Wing from 2008 to 2012 was still there. In the basement of this building, most of rooms were widened and stayed unchanged. Only cloaks room was disappeared and made way for children play area. In the first floor, the reception room was added to cloaks room, the reading room remained unchanged in 2012.
In the second floor, a terrace was built above entrance hall. This building constructed a restaurant above the reception and cloaks room. Instead of using stairs to go up, in 2010, citizens could use lift to go up. The right building of Walton Museum emerged self-service room and increased more one floor which is named "Exhibition room" in 2012.
