The diagram illustrates the procedure for preparation of pizza dough using flour.
Overall, the process includes seven steps which mainly consists of mixing. The ingredients required for dough are 4 cups of flour which equals to 500 grams, one and half cup water, 2 table spoon salt and half table spoon dry active yeast. All these ingredients should be added in a stand mixer and mixed slowly for 2 minutes. To ensure proper blending of substances, it should again be mixed at medium speed for 5 minutes and then for 2 minutes at slow speed.
Following the proper mixing of ingredients, the finished dough should be kept to attain maximum size within two hours. After the dough size has increased, the dough should be kneaded with hand to ensure the removal of air bubbles for smooth surface. The final phase is to cut the dough into three equal pieces of 275 grams each.
Thus it is evident that preparation of pizza dough is a simple process and doesn't require much efforts.
