The process shows how plants create food

The diagram illustrates the process of making food by the plants. The major ingredients for making the food are sunlight, water, carbon dioxide and minerals, on the other hand, the byproducts are oxygen and sugar.
The process starts with the roots, by absorbing water and minerals from the soil, whereas the main work is done by the leaves which intakes the carbon-dioxide from the atmosphere and the sunlight during the day time.
Finally, oxygen and sugar are the byproducts of this process. The sugar can be changed to starch which ultimately helps the plants to grow and repair themselves.
