There are some informations in this chart. The first line is city, Second line is date opened, Third is Length of route, last is passenger per year. We can know the first underground railways systems in the world is London in United Kingdom, opened in 1863. The second is Paris in France, opened in 1900. The longest route is also London, after all, it is first early underground railway. Long time make them build more railways.
The most passenger is Tokyo in Japan. There is important reason is hugely population in Tokyo. The second is Paris because the population less than Tokyo.
The less length of route make the passenger per year also less than other area.
There are an explain in Los Angeles. Most of people in United States use car and rarely to use underground. So There are less passenger per year. Most of passengers are tourists, not American.
