This chart shows the underground railways systems in six cities around the world. I will analyze these data with countries in the following paragraphs.
There is some information in this chart. The first line is the city, the Second line is the date opened, Third is the Length of the route, last is passenger per year. We can know the first underground railway system in the world is London in the United Kingdom, opened in 1863. The second is Paris in France, opened in 1900. The longest route is also London, after all, it is the first early underground railway. Long time make them build more railways.
The most passenger is Tokyo in Japan. There is an important reason for is the huge population in Tokyo. The second is Paris because of the population less than Tokyo.
The less length of the route makes the passenger per year also less than other areas.
There is an explanation in Los Angeles. Most of the people in the United States use the car and rarely to use underground. So There is less passenger per year. Most of the passengers are tourists, not American.
