The table below gives information on consumer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002.
The statistics illustrates data on consumer expenditure in various nations namely(Ireland,Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey) in 2002.
Overall,it can be seen that Turkey was the most expenses of food,drink,tobacco and leisure and education,while leisure and education were the lowest expenditure by Spain.
Looking at the data in more detail it is clear that, in terms of food,drink,and tobacco, Turkey was by far the most expenses of these items, with exactly 32.41% followed by Ireland which spend 28.91% on the same category.The percentage of expenditure in food, drink and tobacco was approximately the same in both Italy and Sweden,about 16.36% and 15.77% respectively.
Turning to the remaining data, it is evident that Italy was the highest expenditure of clothing and footwear,whereas Sweden was the lowest.Ireland, Spain and Turkey had the same rate of expenditure in the same items.In terms of leisure and education, Spain and Ireland were the least usage of it,but Turkey was the most expenditure.
