The table below gives information on the proportion of carbohydrates, protein and fat in three different diets.
The table illustrates information about the distribution of carbohydrates, protein, and fat in three numerous diets. Units are measured in percentage. Overall, it can be seen that carbohydrates were the greatest percentage among all types of diets, whereas fat was the lowest.
In terms of various diets, sportspeople healthy diet meals with the greatest proportion of carbohydrates at 60%, compared to a healthy diet and average diet that were slightly lower at 50% and 40% respectively. In addition, the second largest nutrient is protein. Furthermore, in the average diet, the amount of protein is the biggest with 40%. It was then followed by a healthy diet at less than a third and the figure for a healthy sports diet is minimally lower than the former at a quarter.
Regarding the types of diets, fat is the last nutrient that proportion only below a quarter for all types of diets. Both average and healthy diet the proportion of fat it is same with a fifth. Lastly, it is slightly lower with less than a fifth for the healthy sport diet.
