The table illustrates millions of tonnes of waste production from a variety of regions in the world in two decades beginning in 1980. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that while the rate of Ireland's trash resembles none, the American figure dominates all time surveyed with the increase being the most dramatic.
Initially, The series of European countries comprising Ireland, Poland, and Portugal was recorded as the lowest litter countries in the whole period. Poland and Portugal, which clearly experienced negligibly decade-to-decade volatility ( increasing just about 1 - 1.5 million tonnes ), ended up with 6.6 and 5 respectively in the final year. None of the trash was the reserved trend in Ireland from 1980 to 1990 before a sharp rise to finish the years with 5 million tonnes. Looking at Asia in 1980, while none of the Korean waste production was witnessed, the Japanese figure was much higher 28 times. Korea hovered precisely 31 million tonnes of trash from 0 onwards with a noticeable uptick, before dropping to half in 2000. After two decades, the amount of waste production in Japan doubled to 52 million tonnes. The dominant in all periods was the United States, Overtaking the starting point with 131 million tonnes of litter was the prior condition to surging to a high point and reaching the highest ending point about 192 millions tonnes among all time.
