Britain from 1972 to 1983.

The table below shows the development of buying consumer durables by families in Britian during 1972-1983. According to the table, first of all, it could be seen that eight articles were identified as a consumer durable.
As it can be observed percentage of households who own central heating had a gradual increase over a period of 11 years starting from 1972. Television is the next article that in respect to previous article had a slight increase from 93 percent to 98 percent.
There is no information about video until 1983 when 18 percent of households were owning it in Britian. Based on the table, percentage of buying refrigerator by households experienced a 21 percent increase between 1972 to 1983.
Apart from that, till 1982 there is 8 percent increase in consuming vacuum cleaner in domestication use. It is immediately apparent that buying using telephone in homes had a sudden increase during those years. However, there is no information for dish washers until 1978 when 3 percent of families in Britian use its. After 5 years,the percentage of owner increased to 5 percent.
Also, it should be noted that consuming washing machine in domestic use had a 14 percent increase during 1972 to 1983.
