According to the table, the most popular device in Brittan was television, there was a stability of using television at around 93% in 1972 and 98% in 1983. As well, washing machine, vacuum cleaner and refrigerator usage rose steadily during 12-year period, only vacuum cleaner usage in 1983 was disappeared. However, a considerable increase was found in central heating and telephone by 61% and 35% respectively. Nevertheless, British were just using dishwasher in 1978 and the percentage was less than 5% until 1983. In fact, it was the least popular electronic device in Britain. While, video was just first recorded in 1983 and its first-year usage was not greater than 20%.
In conclusion, there are a considerable increase in every category of electronic devices in Britain.
