Overall, most of the family were expended their money in the non-essential goods and services. On the other hand, they had spent just few amounts of money for dress purpose.
According to the table, an average australian family expense increased by 40 dollars over the ten years period. They spent large amount of monthly income in the other goods and services sector. In addition, an australian family expended huge amount of money in the eating purpose as well which is increased by 5 dollars during the given period. It could be seen that the dramatically change were happened in the electricity and water and it was reached to 120 dollars monthly in the year 2001. Housing expenditure was also risen and they were less interested to buy new clothes in 2001.
On contrast, total monthly cost in the transportation sector was decreased significantly in 2001 which was 70 dollars in the starting period.
