The table illustrates the preference for selected subjects by undergraduates in three countries.
In general, most undergraduate students in the USA, Korea, and Germany chose scientific subjects.
Regarding the percentage of undergraduates who selected subjects in the USA, the highest rate of subjects was business, at 22%. The other fields made up less than 10% of the preference, with 7.6%, 5.9%, 5.6%, 4.4%, 3.8%, and 1.3% percentages in education, psychology, engineering, biology, English language, and Literature respectively.
On the other hand, the largest proportion of subjects in Korea and Germany was the same, engineering, at 20.8% and 18.1% respectively.
If we look at Korea, there was two proportion of fields more than 10%, the other was fine arts and design, at 10.1%. The rest of the subjects: law, foreign languages, political science, psychology, and medical science represented less than 8%. As for Germany, the preference for business and foreign languages accounted for more than 13%, at 15.1% and 13.5% respectively.
Meanwhile, the percentage of undergraduates who selected international law, education, psychology, and sports science was less than 10%.
