The provided chart compares three age groups in terms of their liking for 6 separate TV programs in a nation in Europe in the year 2012.
Overall, it is evident that features films and sports programs were most favored by all age groups, whereas the biggest difference can be observed in the area of news and cartoons.
Looking at the information in more detail, in 2012, the proportions of people from three age groups who had a preference for watching sports and features films shared relatively identical data, with the figures standing at roughly 20%. Also, the same pattern can be witnessed in TV dramas, with the proportions registering somewhere in the vicinity of 10% for three age groups.
The most remarkable disparity of the figures among the three groups was in cartoons and news programs. 29% of children between the ages of 11 and 15 had a liking for watching cartoons, as opposed to merely 4% of the 21 to 25 age group. By contrast, 23% of people from the oldest group loved watching news, compared to only 6% of those from the youngest group. Besides, soap opera was preferred by 17% and 19% of people from the 11-15 and 21-25 age group respectively, although it attracted just 12% of people aged from 15 to 20.
