Overall, the largest percentage of share in the market was of HP manufacturers whereas the least share belonged to the company named ‘Fujitsu-Siemens’. Furthermore, only the two companies, HP and Dell experienced an increase in their share proportions.
HP maintained its top position around the global share market with 31.4% market share in 2006 and 34% market share in 2007. Similarly, the percentage of share of the dell company shifted up from 16.6% to 20.2% within a single year while Acer faced a slight fall which was 10.7% in the last given year.
In terms of the two companies, Toshiba and Lenovo, Toshiba manufacturers achieved a slight rise in their proportion of share from 6.2% to 7.3%, however, the share of the Lenovo company fell off slightly reaching the value of Toshiba’s initial share value. Lastly, the industry ‘Fujitsu-Siemens’ and other computer industries accounted for 2.3% and 19.3% share respectively in the worldwide share market in 2007.
