Also, in 1930, numbers of prisoner in United States and New Zealand were identical which reach 100 thousand. This concept is followed by dramatic fall in New Zealand and rapid increase in United States in next decade. The peak in 1930 was belonged to Canada, 20% much more than those 2 countries, which followed by fluctuate levels and eventually reached at 85 thousand in 1980.
Unfortunately, although the statics of imprisonment almost became 80 thousand in 1970, the figure for United States shown sudden growth and reached axis in 1980. Another noticeable thing was three equivalent figures of Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand (65 thousand) in 1970.
