Overall, it can be seen that France is the most popular destination from foreign visitors, especially for British people. On the other hand, the lowest-ranked countries are Australia and Ireland, respectively.
While France is mostly attracted by foreign visitors with 53 million, of which 7.4 and 0.1 million visitors come from the UK, which is the highest figure, and the USA, which is the lowest number, Australia with just 3 and Ireland with 4 million visitors are not favorite for visitors coming from foreign countries. The same numbers of visitors come to visit Australia form the UK and the USA, at 0.3 each. However, the statistics show that over half of the visitors come to see Ireland form the UK, at 2.4.
Italy and Canada are the second and the third countries in terms of attracting foreigners, with 20 and 15 million in total, of which 1.8 and 12 million were Americans and 1.2 and 0.6 were British, respectively, representing that Canada is the most popular country for American people. However, the numbers of visitors were almost the same for Mexico and Thailand, with 7 and 6 million in total, respectively. After Canada, Mexico is the destination for most Americans, at 5.5 million which accounts for over 80% of foreigners visiting the country of Mexico.
