The given chart illustrates the percentage of children attending four various secondary schools for a period of 9 years from 2000 to 2009. The mentioned parameters are specialist schools, grammar schools, voluntary - controlled schools and community schools.

It is clear from the data that voluntary controlled schools accommodated almost half (52%) of the students population in 2000. Whereas, the specialist schools (12%) and community schools (12%) received least number of children during the same time. Grammar schools housed almost twice as many students as compared to least populated schools, which is 24%.

A detailed view of the table shows that as years goes by every schools lost it's acceptance except community schools. In the begging it had only received 12% of total students numbers but in the end the proportion was almost six folded and claiming half of the total school goers. Among these 9 years of time specialist schools' always be the least popular one among the others. In addition, voluntary controlled schools lost its fame drastically from 52% to 20% in the end.

In conclusion, voluntary controlled schools and community schools were always prominent among students during the mentioned period and other two were the least approved secondary schools.
