The tables above represent the figures about the revenue of Fairtrade-labelled coffee and bananas in five different European countries in 1999 and five years after that. Broadly speaking, the sales from coffee and bananas increase considerably through the period.
As can be seen from the given numbers, there was a significant growth in the revenue from selling coffee over 5 countries in 1999 compare to 2004. In the UK, the sales in 2004 exceed approximately ten times than that in five years before that made it become the first ranking. Additional, that was also a rise in Switzerland taking up double than early time. We also noticed that the slightly increase in the other countries.
Likewise, the sales from bananas in Switzerland had the highest ranking with leap dramatically from 15 million to 47 million. The next one is UK which only increased 4.5 million on 5 years. On the contrast, there were steadily declines in Sweden and Denmark, which the former taking up 1 million and the later occupying 0.9 million in 2004.
