Overall, it is clearly evident that, the total number of people worldwide is predicted to increase, with Asian population being by far the most dominant contributor to the estimation.

Moving to a more detailed analysis, worldwide population went up from 2.5 billion to 6 billion in 1950 and 2000 respectively. In 1950, Asian populace was more than half of the global population, with Europe being the second to add on to the total number of people. Both Africans and Asia had increased by 4%, with a similar 3% swell in Latin America after 4 decades. By contrast, European Fell significantly by a tenth and a mere 2% drop in North America in that same year (2000).

By 2050, the total people in the world is projected at 9 billion. Asian proportion would have dropped by a meager 1%, but will continue to remain the continent with the largest number of people. Interestingly, Population rate from Oceania, would remain relatively unchanged with an insignificant 1%.
