Given table enumerates the proportion of various age groups involved in different leisure activities before four weeks for their interviews. Overall watching TV dominated than the other time passing activities, incontrast dress making, needle work and knitting showed the least a tractive by all age groups in these periods.
Firstly, waching TVand vedios were equally popular in all age groups before interviews. Secondly, visiting family and friends stood high rate eventhough reduced slightly in the last group. Listening to tapes and audios took third and fourth position with slightly less popularity but, 60 to 69 group showed a less atraction towards the tapes.
Reading books managed to keep an above 50 percentage position in all age groups, while the rest of the groups witnessed a dramatic flactuation over the age groups. For DIY the middle group maintained a 50 percentage,on the otherhands the other people were less attracted towards it. Youth showed less interest in gardening and dress making while as the age increased it become increasingly popular.
In conclusion, before the interviews the people showed interests in different activities, which varied conciderably on the basis of age groups.
