The charts give information about the amount of money a UK school using for different purposed each year in 1981, 1991, and 2001.

Overall, the percentage of insurance experienced an increase every 10 years while yje figure for other workers' salaries showed an opposite trend. Despite variations over the period of time, teachers' salaries still maintained the leading position.

In 1981, teachers' salaries accounted for the highest proportion, at 40%, followed by 28% of other workers' salaries. While the expenditure rate of furniture and equipment, as well as, studying materials was equal, staanding at 15% each, insurance was responsible for trivial proportion, only 2%. After a decade, the spending on teachers' salaries and resources climbed to 50% and 20% respectively. In comparison, the percentage of insurance also increased slightly to 3%, yet the rest 2 categories showed a decline by 6% for other wrkers' salaries and 10% for infrastructure.

In 2001, teachers' salaries still occupied the highest proportion of the total school spending, at 45% whose figure doubling that of furniture and equipment (23%). In contrast, the percentage of salaries of other workersand resources decreased by 7% and 11% in order, insurance was seen a significant rise from 3% to 8%.
