Essay topics:

The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by a particular UK school in 1981, 1991 and 2001.

The pie charts compare and contrast data on the changes in the finance expenditure of the school in the United Kingdom over 20-year period starting 1981.

Overall, the percent of spending on the teacher's salaries ranked first during the whole period of time, while that for insurance stood last. Insurance costs experienced growth, while support staff salaries showed a decrease.

In the 1981, the higest share of expenditures took tutor's salaries, which totaled 40 % of all costs. In 10 years it slightly increased by 10 % and made up 50 % in 1991, further declined until 45 % in 2001. Support employees salaries decreased sagnificantly from 28 % in 1981 to 15% in the end of the period. In sharp contrast to this, the incurace costs had the lowest percent of school spending and ammounted only 2 % in the begining of the period. However, by the end of the period it dramatically grew in 4 times and equalled 8%.

Spending on differenet resources and school furniture was the same and equaled 15 % in 1981. But if resource costs rose gradually in 1991 and totaled 20%, the last then dropped sharply in 3 times. Over the next 10 years, the school increased greatly spending on the furniture and equipment until 23%, and finance spent on the resources reduced dramatically approximately in 2 times, that totaled 9 % in 2001.
