The two graphs show the main sources of energy in the USA in the 1980s and the 1990s.
The supplied pie charts enumerate the different sources of energy in the United States of America in two different decades- 1980 and 1990. The spectacular feature of the chart depicts that major source of energy in the USA is Oil.
As is observed from the provided information, the consumption of oil in 1980's was 42% which was lowered by 9% in the subsequent decade. However, usage of Natural gas was almost a quarter in the starting years and remained almost consistent in the following years.
Moving further, the production of energy from the hydroelectric power maintained a plateau in all the years whereas there was a 5% burgeon in the manufacture of the energy of coal from 22% to 27% in the given time period. It is fascinating to note that the energy derived from the Nuclear power in the stipulated time-period became twice of its previous value which was 5%.
All in all, the manipulation of Coal and Nuclear power has mounted as an energy source while coal is being avoided.
