The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The two maps illustrate the island before and after the establishment of construction for tourism. Overall, the island has experienced a transformation from an original wilderness to a well-supplied recreational landscape over time.
At first, the island consisted of mostly nothing but a few jungles in the midde-east and middle west and a beach on the western coast. The total length of the island is approximately 250 meters.
After reconstruction, two-thirds of the area of the island to the west witnessed significant urbanization. The restaurant and the reception block are constructed in the center of the island, connected by a vehicle track, which also links to the pier built close to the seacoast with two boats placed nearby to serve entertainment or travelling purposes. The next development that occurs is the construction of new villas, which surround the central dining and guest welcoming area and have footpaths connecting for easier commuting. Another change that takes place is the expansion of a swimming area on the west, taking advantage of the original beach.
