Essay topics:

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and making comparisons where relevant.

The maps illustrate the pathways to gain entrance to a city hospital in years 2007 and 2010. The layouts are composed of car parking(staff and public), bus station, roundabout and different roads.

In 2007, there was a single parking spot available for both hospital workers and public at the near south of the city hospital. In addition to that, there were multiple bus stops along the hospital road. At the end of the hospital road, there was a ring road which looped around the main building of the hospital.

In 2010, at near the East side of the building, there is a new parking space exclusively for the general people visiting the hospital. Whereas, the old parking spot is now used only by the staffs. Moreover, there is colossal a bus station positioned at the south-west direction of the city hospital which replaced the old bus stops. Furthermore, there are roundabouts at the opposite ends of the hospital road.

Overall, we can see a significant amount of changes in transportation layout over the years, from 2007 to 2010, which includes new bus station, two spacious parking spots and two roundabouts.
