The two pie charts below show some employment patterns in Great Britain in 1992
The pie charts illustrate information about how many the workforce was ordered in 1992 in Great Britain. The data are shown in percentage, divided into manual and non-manual occupations. Overall, it can be seen that the greatest percentage for both genders was on non-manual occupations, female was clerical or related, whereas male on managerial and professional. Both sexes were least their proportion in general labourers.
Looking at the first categories, male had the biggest on managerial and professional with 36%, while female only about 29%. Similarly, on craft or similar, there was a huge difference of 21% between the genders pie charts which the male was 24% and female just 3%. However in clerical or related, female had the greatest percentage with 31%, while man was dramatically lower with 6%. Likewise, the female employee was higher on other manual than the male employee by 1% at around 27% and 26%.
In terms of the remaining occupations, both genders set aside the similar number for other non-manual at around below 10%. Lastly, none of the genders were least on general labourers for male (approximately 2%) was over double that of female (1%).
