Essay topics:

The world is experiencing a dramatic increase in population. This is causing problems not only for the poor in undeveloped countries but also for industrialised and developing nations. Describe some of the problems that overpopulation causes, and suggest at least one possible solution.

In this day and age, there has been a sharp rise in the number of residents all over the world which exerts a multitude of negative impacts on both poverty-stricken and prosperous nations.

In terms of poor countries, overpopulation resulted in the depletion of natural resources and shortage of basic amenities. When more and more children are being born, the budget of the government to pay for medical care, schools and accommodations is limited. Thus, they have to put forward mining resources regularly attempting to provide the best supply for promising young generations as well as lessen the financial burden.
Similarly, the job market is being affected in industrialized and developing nations as fewer jobs are available to support a large number of people, therefore, the unemployment rate is getting higher and higher which lead to crime such as thieves, drug cartels, and even violence when they are competing for good living standards.

There are 2 crucial ways to prevent the situation from being uncontrolled. Firstly, decreasing the rate of birth-giving by dint of declaring new policies about family planning and population control. For instance, a family that has only one or two children will have at least one privilege for their kid’s education or childcare. Furthermore, a few campaigns or meetings to raise awareness among people regarding the serious causes of overpopulation increasing alarmingly without a sign of reduction until some possible solutions will be taken into account.
To Conclude, overpopulation is a warning concern that contributes to many detrimental effects on both rich and poor nations. Therefore, not until the government and each citizen join hands together, can we address this global issue effectively.
