You and your family are living in rented accommodation in an English speaking country. You are not satisfied with the condition of some of the furniture.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter

introduce yourself

explain what is wrong with the furniture

say what action you would like the landlord to take

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mr Aamir,

The objective of writing this letter is to address the problems incurred with the furniture. However, my name is John. I am your new tenant and recently moved in the apartment no. 13 Marina Crown.

Firstly, the dining table is wobbling due to this it's very risky to use as anything could fall from the table. In addition to this, the table has missing chairs and incomplete sets of chairs. Secondly, the cabinets locks are broken inside the kitchen due to these cabinets remain unrestricted. Besides, lots of scratches on the wooden floor in the kitchen which is visible. Finally, the sofa sets are torn and broken including the bed has broken spring which creates sneaking noises and incurred disturbance while sleeping.

Furthermore, I request you to visit and perform the assessment of the furniture. Also, I want all the faulty furniture to be repaired and replaced with the new ones.

I look forward to a positive response at your earliest.

Yours Sincerely,

John Moses
