The diagram below illustrates the 11 step process of coffee production and how it is packed for selling in supermarkets and shops.
Overall, making coffee is a vigorous process that needs both mechanical and physical work for a successful outcome.
First, the farmers pick coffee beans from the plant manually placing them in baskets. Next, they dry these beans under the heat of the scourging sun, using a rake to segregate each piece and be evenly exposed to avoid moisture. After that, it was roasted on fire and once finished, cooling rapidly was done. Extreme cold temperature below 0 degrees is needed to have a better output, at the same time it is substantial in shrinking these beans. Grinding will be the next phase using a machine and through this, finer granules will be made. Water will then be added to these grinded and refined beans however, straining the mixture thereafter is necessary to separate the coarse granules. It will be frozen again and will be subjected to the second grinding process yet, this time a liquid form will be formed rather than a solid one. Vacuum drying will be performed before finally packing into jars because it prevents the product from spoiling easily due to precipitated moisture. Finally, these packed jars will be delivered to market for sale and consumer consumption.
