The pie graph illustrates how many percentage of the reasons why people travel to work by bicycle or by car.
Overall, health and fitness, less pollution are two main reasons for cycling to work, while people who drive to work prefer selecting comfort and distance to work as the largest percentage of reasons.
A glance to the chart provided reveals that the most of people who are cycling to work care about health and pollution, thereby making these factors become the first rank, at 30%. These are twice as much as that of no parking problems. Meanwhile, people do not have cost and be faster than cycling that are the least selected, with 13% and 12% respectively.
Not surprisingly, people show more their interest in comfort, the figure for this reason is 40%, which is nearly double than that of distance to work. Although people do not choose too much for reasons about “faster than cycling” and “carrying things to work”, both factors still hold third rank together, at 14%. Certainly, the reason about safer than cycling is by far the smallest of all sectors.
