The graph below shows the writing technology used by undergraduate students to prepare assignments at a university in 1970, 1982 and 1994.
Summarise the information presented in this graph by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart compares proportion of assignments prepared by four writing devices which university students utilized to finish their essays from 1970 to 1994, measured in percentage.
It is clear that ball point pens were used the most by bachelor students between 1970 to 1982, but computers become the most chosen devices in 1994. In addition, ball point and fountain pens saw the biggest fall in preference over 24-year period
In 1970, ball point pens were the most preferred close to 50 per cent, whereas no figure of computers was recorded. Over the following 24 years, however, ball point pens’ picked data fell by approximately 40 per cent, while computers’ option saw a significant rise by five to four per cent of that for ball point pens. By 1994, computers had become the most preferable techonology with figure reaching 50 per cent.
The other two chosen devices between 1982 to 1994 were fountain pens and typewriters. In 1970, these devices were used around 38 per cent and 12 per cent respectively, however, typewriter took over the another in 1982 with 40 per cent and 5 per cent respectively and remained those figures in the next 12 years.
