The table illustrates the percentage of travel with different means of transportation in four countries. The bar chart demonstrates the most cited reasons for people choose to work by car in Canada.

Looking from the table, the four different countries are Canada, Belgium, Germany and Netherland, and the means of transportation are car, bicycle, public transport, on foot and other. Canadians favor travel by car because 90% of their journey made by cars, which is the biggest among the four countries. The second large coverage of viechle journey happened in Belgium, which the percentage is 72%. The majority mean of travel is by car in Germany. However, public transportation consititutes 18% of the journey, that is the highest comparing to the other three countries. The percentage of journeys by car is the smallest in Netherland, which is 47%, whereas the percentages of bicycle and on foot are the highest in all the four countries.

Seeing from the bar chart, most people in Canada choose travel to work by car simply because they have no alternative. Another reason is that car is a necessity for work. Canadian likewise enjoys the convenience of traveling by car. Other reasons include quicker and night shift.
