Although you have never formally studied computing, you have always been interested in computers. You have just read about a computer course that really interests you, but it is only for people who have completed an elementary course.
Write a letter to the college enrolment officer. In your letter
• explain why you are writing
• describe your circumstances
• ask if a special exception can be made for you so you can enroll in the course
Dear sir,
I am writing this letter to you to seek your permission to take admission in the cad-laboratory course which is being recently offered by our college. If it would have been previously included, I would have been the first one to reserve my seat. However, the only exception in my case is that I have never received any formal basic training of the computers.
To be honest, computers have always stimulated my imagination but because of an unsound status I was not able to opt this subject in my primary school as there were additional charges for this. Despite of the fact of my weak financial status I kept on acquiring knowledge about it through my internet. Finally, today I am able to join this advance course.
Finally, I want you to help me to pursue my passion by allowing me to sit in the class. You can even have a justification of my declaration by taking the test of my skill. I would be really grateful for you if you could make it for me.
Yours Sincerely,
Veronica Jackson.
