Although you have never formally studied computing, you have always been interested in computers. You have just read about a computer course that really interests you, but it is only for people who have completed an elementary course.
Write a letter to the college enrolment officer. In your letter
• explain why you are writing
• describe your circumstances
• ask if a special exception can be made for you so you can enrol in the course
You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to get admission in the computer course that is being offered in your academy. but before that I want let you know about my education background first.
I have always been interested in computer studies all my life, but due to some financial reasons I had to choose a trade course for my living. Although my field is different, but I often watch tutorials and educational programs related to computer programming because of my immense interest in computer and technology.
I request you to please consider my case, and give me an opportunity to enroll in your centre so I can make my dream come true. I assure you that without any formal studies of computer, my knowledge will be not less than any other student; I am also willing to give an entry test to prove myself.
Thank you for your time and I hope a positive reply from your side.
Yours faithfully,
Yasir Khan
