The chart below shows the value of one country's exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category or exports in 2016 compared with 2015.

The bar chart and table demonstrate export earnings in a nation and their changing rates between 2015 and 2016, divided into 5 categories namely Petroleum products, Engineered goods, Gems and jewelry, Agricultural products, and Textiles.

The first prominent feature is that export earnings in most industries experienced an upward trend over the years except for Gems and jewelry. In addition, Petroleum products registered the highest figures while Textiles accounted for the least sizeable numbers.

In particular, there were about 70 billion dollars made from exporting engineered items in 2015. This number in the latter year rose to 62 billion dollars. However, this tendency wasn't in common with those data in the Gems and jewelry area. Specifically, a subtle reduction can be observed which was from 43 billion dollars to 41 billion dollars.

On the other hand, it can be illustrated from the table that Agricultural products witnessed an incredibly slight improvement which was only 0.81% in 2016. In contrast, the rest of the group apart from Gems and jewelry achieved export revenues at much faster speeds, which were all above 3%. In spite of its humble value in billion dollars in relation to other areas, Textiles saw the most outstanding change in the analyzed period which was 15.24%.
