consumption of fast food by Australian teenagers
The given line graph illustrates the average number of fast food which is followed by young people in Australia over a period of 25 years starting from 1975.
Overall, it is clear that while the consumption of hamburgers and pizza experienced a doom, the opposite was true for fish and chips. Also, it is noticeable that the figure for fish and chips was lowest over the period shown.
As can be seen from the line graph, in 1975 witnessed a significant increase to over 80 in hamburgers. Similar, there was doom to nearly 40 in pizza, while the figure for fish and chips drop substantially during the period.
Looking at the graph in more detail, in 1990 the figure for hamburgers and pizza continued to go up considerably to an average of 90 and nearly 60 respectively, whereas the consumption of hamburgers and pizza witnessed a gradual decrease by 60 at the same time. From the year 1995 onwards, a remain stable was seen in hamburgers and pizza around 100 and under 80 respectively at the end of the period.
