During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants.
Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter
remind him when and where you met
tell him what kind of job you are interested in
say why you think you would be suitable for the job
Hi John,
I am Harry and I hope you remembered me as we accompanied each other in the flight on 1st of june from Boston to New York. I am writing this letter, to contact for an opportunity in your restaurants as was suggested by you.
As I told you during our journey that I am working as a technology consultant at XYZ organisation as a technical lead. I am fortunate enough to have an experience of 11 years working with various domains like banking and finance, health care and hotel management just to mention a few. I recall that while our discussion you highlighted that your business needs a technological architecture so that your team can manage it in an organized way and take it to the next level.
I would like to ask that if you still have that position open, I would definitely like to be a part of your esteemed business.
this will be least to add that in overall carrier, I have gained major part of experience and knowledge in handling hotel management projects with sometimes responsible for managing a team of 20 resources. I can assure you that having me in your team will be beneficial for your business not just financially but in expansion of the same too.
I have enclosed my résumé with this letter for detailed view of my experience and education. hope to hear from you soon and I can be reached at abc12@gmail.com or at 222-222-2222 anytime during the week.
Thanks
Your sincerely
harry
